Went with six couples for dinner and had a great time. We had two excellent apps, bang(?) shrimp, and filet wrapped in pastry. For dinner I had the salmon, which was quite good, and tried a couple bites of filet mignon - incredible steak. Our sever Daviana was excellent. The owner Melisa popped in and out and thanked us for coming.
We visited for lunch to get a feel for the restaurant before booking a rehearsal dinner on the premises. Casual dining with friendly service and huge tasty lunch portions. We chose wisely!
Made reservations for a group of twenty. We were seated promptly at 7:00. The service was excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection. You should give them try . Things have changed.
Everyone was very nice and attentive while we were being seated and served dinner. We ordered the appetizer sampler because there were so many interesting options - we had the fried pickles (they are cut very thin and fried crisp), the BBQ egg rolls (perfect combo of pulled pork, cheese, grilled onion and drizzled with bbq sauce), and the fried deviled eggs. I have never seen fried deviled eggs on a menu before, but more places should follow the Chophouse's lead on this. They were fantastic, perfectly coated with the delicious filling on top. I may have to go by just for those anytime I find myself in Carrollton.
Wow! This place is great! This was our first visit and we will definitely be back! The food was outstanding! Everything we tried was amazing! And Logan, our server was exceptional! All in all relaxed atmosphere. This may be our new favorite restaurant! We highly recommend this place!
So glad we tried this spot out! On the fancier side for Carrollton & such good food. Very open space, full bar, & live band (not too loud). Service was good. Loved the shrimp & grits and the BBQ egg rolls. Plenty of parking across the street and walking distance from the square.
Ate here for lunch today and had the 1/2 soup 1/2 salad. Chophouse stew was great and grilled chicken salad was excellent. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Not very busy for lunch which was great for us. Waitress brought us extra steak for my wife's black and blue salad. Food and service were great and glad we found a new lunch spot off the square.
